Dr. Hannah Burson
Dr. Hannah Burson brings a uniquely broad clinical perspective to Access Healthcare, with board certification in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and a deep commitment to relationship-driven, personalized care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine before completing a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she trained to care for patients across the full spectrum of life from childhood through older adulthood.
Prior to joining Access Healthcare, Dr. Burson practiced as a hospitalist, working closely with physicians at Roper St. Francis Healthcare to manage complex medical conditions and coordinate care during hospital stays. This experience shaped her comprehensive understanding of both inpatient and outpatient medicine, allowing her to guide patients with clarity and continuity through every stage of their health journey.
Dr. Burson is known for her thoughtful, attentive approach and her belief that great medicine begins with truly knowing the patient. She takes time to listen, understand each individual’s lifestyle and goals, and develop care plans centered on prevention, wellness, and long-term health. Her work reflects a philosophy that prioritizes connection, trust, and proactive care.
At Access Healthcare, Dr. Burson is proud to practice within a model that values accessibility, time, and meaningful physician–patient relationships. Her broad training allows her to care for a wide range of medical needs while delivering the attentive, personalized experience that defines concierge medicine.
Outside of the office, Dr. Burson enjoys being part of the Charleston community and caring for families throughout the Lowcountry.
